● About the material
The thread balls are made from plant-derived "cupra." The threads passing through them are polyester lame threads, giving it a glamorous feel.
● About the clasp
The clasp is a rotating pin type, so the needle tip does not protrude, ensuring safety. The ivory x silver brooch has a silver clasp. The beige x gold brooch has a gold clasp. *Depending on the fabric, the clasp may leave a hole. Please test it on an inconspicuous part of the fabric before wearing.

This "Oyako-Gamakuchi" coin purse has a retro charm. Made from soft cowhide, it becomes more appealing with use. The perfect amount of gathering creates a plump look, and it's surprisingly spacious, holding more than it appears. This simple yet cute purse also suits natural material baskets and cloth bags.
When opened, there is another small coin purse inside, creating an "Oyako-Gamakuchi" (parent-child coin purse) structure.
Cards, driver's licenses, and tri-folded bills fit perfectly, making it convenient for separating change.
It's just the right size, with a plump look from the gathered opening. It holds more than it appears.
This coin purse has been a staff favorite for 14 years. Its soft texture has only improved with age.
The clasps, both inside and out, are "ball-shaped" for easy opening and closing, and can be operated with a single touch, which is convenient. It also keeps your belongings compact on days when you want to carry less.
There are "netsuke" holes on the sides of the frame for attaching straps, etc.
The inner leather color will be this color for all except black.
The lining of the cowhide "Oyako-Gamakuchi" will change from synthetic leather to a fabric called Katsuragi.
Colors will progressively switch to Katsuragi as stock runs out.
Only black will have a black fabric lining; other colors will have beige.

Nakajima Butsudan-ten
This time, I had the opportunity to collaborate with Nakajima Butsudan-ten, a Buddhist altar and ritual implement store in Gifu City, to create custom-made prayer beads.
The prayer beads made by Mr. Nakajima, who works diligently as an "Authorized Kyoto Juzu Retailer," are all handcrafted, one by one.
After numerous discussions regarding the selection of materials and color combinations, an elegant and beautiful set of prayer beads was completed.
I hope to own a lifelong set of prayer beads that not only serves its purpose during Buddhist rituals but also brings a sense of calm and purification to my heart when I hold them.

Underwear made from high-quality merino wool. As it's blended with silk, it feels smoother on the skin than 100% wool.
It has antibacterial and deodorant properties due to the natural immune function of natural materials.
Once you try it on, you won't want to wear any other innerwear due to its exceptional comfort.
While wool is often associated with winter, it is actually a material that excels at temperature regulation, often called a "natural air conditioner," and can be worn comfortably all year round.

Joha's merino wool uses fine threads of 18-19 microns, which are of high quality even among merino wool, so it does not feel scratchy against the skin.
The FILIPPA series features a refreshing white fabric with a subtle ribbed pattern. The neckline is a gently open round neck, making it less visible under shirts and blouses.

Due to European sizing, it's slightly larger than Japanese sizes, with longer sleeves and hems. Since it's elastic, we recommend size "S" for those who usually wear M-L or prefer a slightly looser fit.

Wool Care Instructions
◎ Machine washable
JOHA wool can be machine washed without a fuss. By placing it in a laundry net and washing it with a neutral detergent on a 'delicate cycle', there's no need to worry about shrinking. *Caution: Please use a neutral detergent suitable for wool.
◎Color transfer / Aging
Wool is excellent for dyeing. In other words, it's a material that easily transfers color. We recommend washing with similar colors.
Wool is a living material. Over time, it will gradually take on a yellowish tint, developing the unique texture of natural materials. Please avoid using chlorine-based bleaches as they can intensify the yellowing.
◎Storage method
The proteins contained in animal fibers like wool and silk can become food for insects. Insects love sweat, dirt, and food stains, which can lead to "moth damage" in some cases. Make sure to thoroughly remove any unseen food stains or sweat through soaking before storing. Ironing with a pressing cloth is also one way to protect against insects.
