Wool Care Instructions
◎ Machine washable
JOHA wool can be machine washed without a fuss. By placing it in a laundry net and washing it with a neutral detergent on a 'delicate cycle', there's no need to worry about shrinking. *Caution: Please use a neutral detergent suitable for wool.
◎Color transfer / Aging
Wool is excellent for dyeing. In other words, it's a material that easily transfers color. We recommend washing with similar colors.
Wool is a living material. Over time, it will gradually take on a yellowish tint, developing the unique texture of natural materials. Please avoid using chlorine-based bleaches as they can intensify the yellowing.
◎Storage method
The proteins contained in animal fibers like wool and silk can become food for insects. Insects love sweat, dirt, and food stains, which can lead to "moth damage" in some cases. Make sure to thoroughly remove any unseen food stains or sweat through soaking before storing. Ironing with a pressing cloth is also one way to protect against insects.

The itchiness of wool is caused by the scaly protrusions on the fiber surface called scales. We use high-quality merino wool with smoothed scales, so it feels gentle on the skin and isn't scratchy.
This processing is called washable processing (anti-shrink processing), which prevents fibers from tangling, allowing for easy machine washing without shrinkage. It's great to be able to easily care for something you want to use every day.
About the mark and inner thread
● The diamond mark indicates the back (buttocks side).
● There may be threads on the inside. These are the ends of the knitting and should absolutely not be cut. Cutting them can cause tears, holes, or fraying.
