Yukihiko Tsutsui of "Yama Budou Kobo Tsutsui" (Wild Grape Vine Workshop Tsutsui)
creates these bags entirely by hand, starting from harvesting the wild grape vines.
Mr. Tsutsui's baskets utilize the natural vines, dynamically weaving in the original curves, thickness,
and thinness of the vines to create a profound aesthetic.

Many products made overseas lose their oils when the vines are boiled midway through the process,
resulting in baskets that don't develop a luster with use. In contrast, Mr. Tsutsui's wild grape vine baskets, which are soaked in water and carefully woven,
are strong and become more beautiful the more they are used.

Wild grape vine baskets can develop mold or insect damage depending on storage conditions.
Being made from natural materials, wild grape vine baskets absorb necessary humidity and release excess moisture. We recommend storing them in a well-ventilated, low-humidity place.
Even when not in use, we recommend enjoying them as interior decor or storage baskets in your room.

Mr. Tsutsui can beautifully repair the basket by replacing the vines.
Repairs are free of charge within one year of purchase.
For baskets older than one year, there will be a repair fee (approximately 5,000 yen and up, depending on the extent of the damage), but repairs are possible. Please note that you will also be responsible for the round-trip shipping costs in such cases.
