These bags are entirely handmade by Mr. Yukihiko Tsutsui of "Yama Budou Koubou Tsutsui," starting from the harvesting of the wild grape vines, which are the raw material.
Mr. Tsutsui's baskets showcase a profound aesthetic by utilizing the natural vines, dynamically incorporating their original curves, thickness, and thinness.
Unlike bags made overseas, where vines are often boiled, stripping them of their oils and leaving them dull even after extensive use, Mr. Tsutsui's wild grape vine baskets are strong and grow more beautiful with use, thanks to being carefully woven after being soaked in water.
The boldly woven baskets, exuding natural power, are easy to carry and suit both casual and elegant styles, without being particular about the wearer or the occasion.

【To Customers Purchasing Wild Grape Vine Baskets】

Wild grape vine baskets may develop mold or moth damage depending on storage conditions.
Being a natural material, wild grape vine baskets absorb necessary humidity and release excess moisture.
We recommend storing them in a well-ventilated and less humid place.
Even when not in use, we suggest enjoying them as interior decoration or storage baskets in your room.


※In case of moth damage

Mr. Tsutsui can replace the vines and repair the basket beautifully.
If purchased within one year, repairs will be free of charge.
For baskets older than one year, there will be a repair fee (approximately 5,000 yen, depending on the extent of the damage), but repairs are possible.
Please note that you will be responsible for the round-trip shipping costs in such cases.
