sobokai Origo 220 Deep Plate
A round plate that makes your food look good even if you're not good at plating.
The wide rim accentuates the contrast between the plated food and the empty space, creating a special presentation.
It's great for pasta and salads, of course, but
it also makes home-cooked meals like hamburgers look extra special.
When food is plated, a natural empty space is created, giving a formal and sophisticated impression.
Due to the small foot and wide rim, warping and distortion may occur during firing. The individual undulations and unevenness give each piece a unique character.
Back of the plate.
Made from red ara-tsuchi clay. The rough minerals containing sand and iron are the source of its powerful presence.
During firing, natural unevenness and roughness appear, creating a variety of textures. Not overly neat, not uniform. It allows you to enjoy the natural expressions created by earth and fire.

sobokai
A professional-use brand by Marumitsu Poterie, developed from a chef's perspective.
Tableware should always enhance the food. By eliminating unnecessary decoration and pursuing a balance between material and aesthetic form, tableware that highlights the food is created. Whether in restaurants or homes, it exudes a strong presence that elevates the food and space.
COLOR
Kohiki
A bumpy texture created by coating with slip while capturing the irregularities of the rough clay.
Although a transparent glaze is applied, excessive gloss is suppressed, resulting in a soft and calm appearance. The iron content in the clay can cause a slight pinkish tint, and the red clay showing through thinner parts of the kohiki glaze also adds to its charm.
Oribe
The depth created by the varying shades of glaze and the subtle scorch marks that appear in thinly glazed areas create a richly expressive landscape. The rough texture of the clay and the Oribe glaze overlap, conveying tranquility within strength. The rich, deep green bestows elegance upon the tableware, creating a special table setting.
Shirohagi-yohen (White Hagi Kiln Change)
The greatest charm of Shirohagi-yohen is that no two pieces are exactly alike. The flowing movement of the glaze, the large iron marks, the yellowish or bluish tints, the unique texture of each piece is unpredictable. We hope you enjoy the luxurious time of holding and admiring these unique plates born from nature.

RIN&CO. Echizen Hardened Lacquer Brushstroke Hirawan S
A lacquer bowl that can withstand a dishwasher.
This size is versatile and can be used for simmered dishes, stews, hot pot serving, side dishes, and more.
Lacquerware has low thermal conductivity, so the bowl does not get hot easily even when hot food is placed in it.
It features a unique shape and beautiful colors that align with modern lifestyles, making it suitable for everyday use.
■Brushstroke Technique
The "brushstroke technique," which utilizes hand-painted brush marks, requires exceptional skill because reapplying paint after it has been applied is not possible.
It is recommended for daily use as minor scratches are less noticeable.
■Dishwasher Safe
Through various experiments, we have developed dishwasher-safe lacquer. We use 100% natural lacquer without any chemical coatings.
■Echizen Hardened Lacquer
It is said that lacquer reaches its hardest state 100 years after application, and complete hardening takes a long time.
"Echizen Hardened Lacquer" is a type of lacquer developed through industry-academia-government collaboration with Fukui Prefecture and Fukui University, achieving a hard coating that can withstand dishwashers.
■Care Instructions
・Use regular detergent and a soft sponge. Dishwasher safe.

Kaya Smock Wide
A smock made from cotton mosquito net fabric.
A wide, voluminous design.
It conforms to your body the more you wear it, making it perfect for loungewear.
Mosquito net wear that is smooth to the touch, highly absorbent, and light and comfortable.
Kaya (mosquito net) woven fabric was essential for spending hot and humid Japanese summers. "What if I made summer clothes for my sweaty child out of this fabric...?" From such a gentle inspiration, the origin of "kaya daily wear" was born, prioritizing comfort above all else.
Double-layered, with a moderate sheerness for a modern look. The relaxed, wide fit also covers your body shape without picking up on your figure.
[Shiawase Cotton] Clothes that breathe with your skin
Add sparkle to your everyday life with carefully selected items and styling that prioritize not only appearance but also comfort. We propose comfortable daily wear for women who enjoy simple and stylish fashion.
Kaya (mosquito net) --- Kaya (mosquito net) is the name of a coarsely woven fabric. It originally contained the character "蚊" (mosquito) because it was used as an insect repellent cloth. BAN INOUE's commitment is to 100% cotton, vibrantly colored kaya.
Characteristics of kaya fabric --- Kaya was originally hung as a mosquito repellent when sleeping. It is a coarsely woven fabric with good ventilation. It is woven with wide gaps between the threads to allow air to pass through, making it very light and flexible. However, since it is a woven fabric, it does not stretch.
The appeal of kaya fabric --- When the "sizing" used during weaving comes off, each individual fiber of the thread spreads out, bringing out the natural softness of cotton. Also, as the fine fibers intertwine, it becomes even more comfortable against the skin, transforming into a soft, light, and airy material. It can be used with confidence by those with sensitive skin and children.
